LiteSpanIBR & SS Roof Panels

Two composite insulated roof panel systems — the 990 IBR with exposed stitching screws for standard roofing, and the 990 Standing Seam with a hidden-clip fixing system for a clean contemporary finish. Both feature FRCel® EPS insulation with a B1 fire rating.

LiteSpan® 990 IBR Roof Panel

LiteSpan® is a composite roofing solution comprising Chromadek® or similar 990 IBR Profile Sheeting on the topside and flat/micro-pleated Chromadek® ceiling on the bottom. The insulation core consists of FRCel® Fire Retardant Expanded Polystyrene with a B1 fire rating: SANS 10177-11.

LiteSpan® 990 Standing Seam Panel

LiteSpan® 990 Standing Seam is a 990 mm wide composite roof panel comprising top and bottom coated galvanised steel sheets with a sandwiched FRCel® EPS core. The panel uses a hidden-clip fixing system with a tongue-and-groove joint for an airtight, clean contemporary finish.

Both LiteSpan® 990 roof panel systems use the same FRCel® EPS insulation core, delivering identical thermal and structural performance. The choice between IBR and Standing Seam is primarily a fixing and aesthetic decision.
